Research Description
Traditional PA made in GaAs material has problems in proving high output power and wide-bandwidth performance. GaN PA can solve the problem for the reason that GaN PA characterizes nearly 50Ohm output impedance and high saturated voltage. It is promising to develop high output power amplifier with high efficiency at C-band which are used for many satellite communications transmissions, some Wi-Fi devices, some cordless telephones, and some weather radar systems.
